Development

The Team Fortress: Forgotten team is actively seeking new coders, texture artists, concept illustrators, modelers, mappers, and voice actors. If you wish to contribute or check out the projects development, join the Discord server provided in Socials.

Here is a road map of what we wish to accomplish currently:
Objectives	Current Status
Fix gameplay and finalize core mechanics	Most things have been finalized but many things are still rough.
Finalize concepts for classes.	Currently, Sargent, Surgeon, Stricker, Hoodlum, Sharp-Shooter, and Ordinance-Guy have concepts that may be finalized.
Attempt to model classes.	As of current, only the Assassin has been given a model.
At least 3 - 4 base game maps, each having their own gamemode.	3 out of 4 maps have been in the works on so far.
Dedicated lore for each class.	Surgeon, Bomb-Brigadier, Sharp-Shooter, and Brandstifter have dedicated lore.
At least an idea of each classes’ core mechanic.	Only few things have been finalized for the class specific core mechanics.
Campaign Mode functionality and plot.	This is still on hold until all else has been completed.

General Lore

The year is 1939, the Team Fortress Classic mercenaries have dropped out of the Gravel War, due to the impending war that was to soon be waged all across the globe. Both factions (RED & BLU) have been feverishly searching for freelance, freelance mercenaries for hire. Fast forward to the year 1946, ten mercenaries, most veterans of war, have volunteered to fight in the gravel-driven feud between the Mann brothers. These noble few were the best of their generation and had skill among no other. They would take on the task to take down the opposing faction and claim victory over the battlefield.

Hunted

The lineage of the Hamilton bloodline is wearing thin do to the endless assassinations that has pledged it and caused many of the greatest businessmen and women to meet their untimely demise by the hands of those who once worked under their thumbs or have developed hatred in their hearts due to the countless works that have moved killers’ hand to choose relentless violence. Jackson Hamilton Sr, one of the great businessmen of the 20s - 30s, and sponsor of the Team Classic mercenaries, has grown frail after years of constant assassination attempts. He had settled down with his family in a remote location, seemingly untraceable to the average Joe. As the years rolled by, time grew ever so slimmer for the aging legend. In a desperate attempt to keep the family name alive, leaving Jackson to give all his estate to his two children. Emma, the expiring fashion designer who wishes to expand her brand across the globe, and Herald, new founder of Hamilton Enterprises. With these changes comes a task only very few have the capability, skill, and bravery to grasp with a firm iron fist. You may ask yourself, “Whom are these very few?” The Merc of 46’ are these very few, they possess the absolute unwavering skill and determination of protecting the soon to be air to the great throne of business hierarchies the world will ever see.

Deathmatch

The random occasion of “mini wars” between a group of mercenaries of unknown factions, have started to become more frequent in remote locations. These scuffles have been described as brutal matches to the death, otherwise known to the locals as Deathmatches, with the one who slaughters the most men being deemed victorious among all else.
