Team Fortress: Advanced is a TF2 Sourcemod in early development that takes place in an alternate universe where TF2 stuck closer to their Team Fortress Classic roots and continued to be updated as regular TF2 did. It is set in the 1980s during a Cold War between the two world-spanning giga-corporations RED and BLU, with industrial aesthetics similar to those of TF2's predecesor Invasion. The mod features a new set of characters to fit into the roles of every class with some differences in loadouts and balancing, along with grenades and an armor system similar to Half-Life 2's HEV.
